This young lady meant the world to me in so many ways.  She was not only my Best Friend Forever, she later became my sister-in-law.  I loved her so much and I will never ever forget the moments we spent together.  She was there for me when I birth my very first child and we had so many fun days together, we laugh togerher, we cried together, and we loved together.  Her mother called us" Little Mama " and "Big Mama", because as all the "Warriors" know "Carrie King" did not play when it came to eating!  (Smile)  So years passed and Mary came and lived with me for a while in Detroit and later moved to California.  After the passing of her mother she discovered she was expecting her first child and I wanted so bad to be with her;  so I resigned from Holiday Inn Executive Law Department in Memphis and moved to California to be with her.  Again, it was all fun and joy  (we even got a chance to be on the famous "Price is Right Show with Bob Barker in 1984" and we won many prices!!   But the most   joyous moment was the arrival of her first born being a "Boy" like mine was.  We were elated!!  Later, when I was moving back to Memphis from Sacramento, CA ,  I had a lay over in Los Angeles and I spent that time with her and she surprised me with the pregnancy of her second child,  which too was another boy.  By this time she was one happy and beautiful mother,  because she thought for a  long time she would never have children.  But we know God is a miracle worker!  So there I was titled "Big Mama" to Jamal and Jaymal and they were two beautiful and now handsome young men, still in California.  The last time I physically saw her she came to Memphis to her father's funeral and I didn't know she was ill herself, but as usual she never complaint or worried anyone with her problems.  She later got sick and God took her home and I will always love her, miss her dearly and looking forward to seeing her lovely "Little" face again in "Heaven"RIP "Little Mama" Love You Always, "Big Mama" Carrie Mae King a/k/a (Najmah Z. Woods)
